1) Responsibilities
​
When booking a tour with Motorcycle tours to Spain it is your responsibility to read and understand the terms and conditions. No bookings can be made without conformation you have read Motorcycle tours to Spain terms and conditions.

2) Terms
​
The term ‘Motorcycle Tours to Spain’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website: Transport and Logistics Support Ltd, Company reg number 10301141 Registered at Companies House, Crown Way, Cardiff. RideSpain.co.uk is the domain name for Motorcycle tours to Spain. The term ‘you’ or ‘your’ or ‘guest’ or ‘client’ refers to the user or viewer of our website or the person booking a tour. The term ‘tour’ is the tour you have chosen from the website. The term ‘pillion’ refers to a person who travels in a seat or place behind the rider of a motorcycle.
3) Bookings​
​
All bookings are made on a first-come first-served basis. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation and invoice from us. Motorcycle tours to Spain reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion.
​
When you make a booking that includes a pillion or other riders, the first named person on the booking will be the ‘party leader’, The Party Leader must have the authority to accept and does accept on behalf of all members of their party, the terms and booking conditions and will be responsible for making all payments due to us.
​
Guests must inform Motorcycle tours to Spain of any illness, medical conditions, allergies or dietary needs that may affect you during the tour before making a booking.
​
4) Payments
​​
We only accept payments made by Bank Transfer.
​
5) Deposits
​​
A deposit is required for each individual booking a place on a tour. No booking on any tour shall be confirmed until a deposit has been received. Once you have submitted your booking form we will reply by email and provide you with an invoice, details of the deposit required, and our payment details.
A place on tour is not confirmed until we receive your deposit payment. Deposit payments are therefore required by return to secure your tour.
Tours booked within 60 calendar days of departure will require payment in full at the time of booking.

All deposits are non-refundable.

We strongly advise you take out holiday insurance that include cancellations.
​
6) Balance Payments
​​
The balance payment is due 60 calendar days prior to departure of your tour. Should a balance payment not be paid by the due date, for an individual or a group, we reserve the right to cancel your place/s on the tour and retain your deposit in full.
Only guests who have paid in full will be allowed to participate in the tour.

7) If You Cancel
​​
In the event of you cancelling your tour the following will apply:
​
61 calendar days or more prior to departure
Loss of the full deposit paid and Loss of 50% of all other monies paid.
0 – 60 calendar days prior to departure
Loss of the full deposit paid and Loss of 100% of all other monies paid.
​
You will incur Loss of the full deposit paid and Loss of 100% of all other monies paid if you do not show up for the tour with or without notice to us.
​
We strongly advise you take out holiday insurance that include cancellations.
​
8) Alterations to a booking
​​
Motorcycle tours to Spain reserve the right to charge a £40.00 administration charge per amendment plus recoup from you any additional direct costs we may incur from making any alterations to your booking details including but not limited to, motorcycle details, ferry booking, cabin upgrades.
9) Transfer of booking
​​
0-60 Calander days prior to departure, if full payment has been received by us it may be possible to transfer your booking to another person. A £40,00 administration charge will apply along with any additional direct costs we may incur in transferring your booking.
Please contact us as early as you can if you wish to transfer a booking.
​
61 calendar days or more prior to departure, you may transfer your booking to another person. Your deposit and any other monies received by us will be held, and you will be responsible for your nominee paying their monies in full.
A £40,00 administration charge will apply along with any additional direct costs we may incur in transferring your booking.
​
Booking Transfers may only be made once in a Calander year.
​
10) Transfer of a deposit
​​
0-60 Calander days prior to departure, Deposit transfer is not possible.
​
61 calendar days or more prior to departure, you may transfer your deposit to another tour within the same calendar year. A £40,00 administration charge will apply along with any additional direct costs we may incur in transferring your deposit.
​
Deposit transfers may only be made once in a Calander year.
​
11) If we cancel
​​
Motorcycle tours to Spain reserve the right to cancel any tour. This would only happen in exceptional circumstances. In such an event, we would offer you a place on another tour to the same or higher value, should this not be possible or acceptable, we would issue a full refund.
Motorcycle tours to Spain will not be held responsible for any out-of-pocket costs or expenses you incurred as a result of the tour not going ahead.

Should Motorcycle tours to Spain need to cancel a tour as a result of situations beyond our control we will not be held responsible or offer a refund or compensation. This could include but is not limited to the following, terrorist activity, pandemic, epidemic, biological outbreaks, war, threat of war, civil strife, riots, natural or nuclear disasters, industrial disputes, unavoidable technical problems with transport, severe weather at land or sea or acts of god.

We strongly advise you take out holiday insurance that include cancellations.
12) Starting the tour & Ferries
​
Motorcycle tours to Spain do not provide and are not responsible for you getting to the tours start location. It is your sole responsibility to arrive at the allotted time and start location. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays to your journey to join us. We can not be held responsible should you miss the ferry.
​
Motorcycle tours to Spain cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays in your ferry crossing to or from the UK, whether caused by bad weather or any other circumstances. In the event of any of the above, refunds or compensation cannot be made, and participants will be responsible for providing all their own additional meals, travel, and accommodation.
​
We strongly advise you take out holiday insurance that includes this possibility.
​
13) On tour
​​
Motorcycle tours to Spain are not accountable for any malfunction, faulty condition, poor state of maintenance or any other health and safety issue regarding, swimming pools, bathrooms, or any other facility provided by any of the ferry companies or Hotels or campsites used during a tour. We are not responsible for the quality and standards of food preparation in any of the Hotel or campsite restaurants, independent restaurants, cafes, bars or any other food supplying establishment.

Motorcycle tours to Spain reserve the right to change aspects of the booked tour, this may be necessary because of, but not limited to operational circumstances, weather, traffic, or other unforeseen events. In this unlikely event your tour guide will communicate any changes with you.
​
We are not responsible for death, personal injury or illness caused by activities in which a guest engages outside of the itinerary of the tour.
Any motorcycle accident involving a guest and an unrelated third party, another guest or any building or property on or adjacent to the road or track, will never be the responsibility of Motorcycle tours to Spain.
​
Motorcycle tours to Spain operate an absolute zero tolerance policy regarding any type of abuse, threatening behaviour, verbal, racial, sexual or physical abuse directed towards another guest, staff member, contractors, tour guides or third-party associates. Any abuse will result in you being expelled from the tour. In such circumstances the guest/s concerned will be required to leave the tour. We will have no further responsibility to them including any return travel arrangements. No refunds will be made, and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred because of the termination.

It is the guest’s responsibility to choose the appropriate tour to their skill level, ability, stamina and experience level. If you have any concerns about this, you must contact Motorcycle tours to Spain before booking the tour. We cannot be held responsible if the guest is out of their comfort zone in regard to the difficulty of the tour.
​
Our tours are routed on paved roads; however, some short sections of unpaved roads are necessary when entering or exiting some campsites, viewpoints, tourist attractions, museums. Guests accept responsibility for riding such roads, no claim for injury, damage or compensation can be made against Motorcycle tours to Spain. We are not in control of road closures and local diversions. Guest must accept changes to routes, or unpaved road sections in such circumstances or find their own alternative route. Motorcycle tours to Spain will not accept any responsibility for any injury, damage, or financial loss in such circumstances.

The tour guide is there purely at discretion of Motorcycle tours to Spain. If due to exceptional circumstances the guide is unable to continue due to Illness, accident, incapacitation, or other unforeseen circumstances we will endeavour to find a replacement guide, if this is not possible you agree to continue the tour without our guide. We will supply a digital road book, gpx route files and addresses of overnight stops.

If a guest or guests decide to leave the tour or exclude themselves from a tour before the end date no refund or compensation can be claimed from us. and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred because of their departure.
​
Guests are expected to ride in a considerate, respectful, and safe manner in respect to the other guests and road users. Guests are expected to ride legally and adhere to the traffic regulations of the country they are riding in.
Guests are expected to have an adequate level of competency for the weight, size and capacity of the motorcycle they are riding. If we feel you are not adhering to the above conditions, or unable to control your motorcycle safely and effectively we reserve the right to ask you to ride alone or in exceptional circumstances to terminate your tour altogether.
In such circumstances no refunds will be made, and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred because of the termination.
Guests are expected to have a level of competency for the weight, size and capacity of the motorcycle they are riding. It is your responsibility to ensure that your motorcycle has a valid MOT (when applicable) is in a road worthy condition for the tour you are going to undertake. This includes tyres capable of covering the distance of the tour.
Guests must hold a valid driving license, IDP if holding a UK paper license. hold a valid UK passport with 6 months validity remaining, hold a valid GHIC, Carry the Original V5 certificate, Have Current VED, carry authenticated copies for any prescription medicines whilst riding in France, carry spare glasses or contact lenses whilst riding in Spain.
Fit a full-size UK sticker to the rear of the motorcycle. Have a compliant homologated exhaust and correct size numberplate for the country they are riding through.
Motorcycle tours to Spain can not be held responsible if the above conditions are not met, no compensation or refund can be claimed from us if these above conditions are not adhered to.

14) Insurances
​
You must have valid motorcycle Insurance covering your motorcycle, rider, and any pillion. This must be valid in Europe.
​
You must have valid travel insurance with a sufficient level of cover to get you and/or your pillion home in the event of accident or emergency. This must include repatriation cover.
​
You must have valid European breakdown cover for your motorcycle. This must include repatriation cover for your motorcycle in the event of an accident or breakdown.
​
Motorcycle tours to Spain can not be held responsible for any disruption to your tour due to you failing to have these insurances in place or failing to carry these insurance documents. Motorcycle tours to Spain can not be held responsible if the above conditions are not met, no compensation or refund can be claimed from us if these above conditions are not adhered to.
​
Motorcycle tours to Spain accept no responsibility for the damage or loss of belongs, equipment or vehicles while on tour, Guests are advised to bring suitable security device/s to secure your vehicle and equipment while unattended and/or overnight.
​
15) Photography/Videos
​
During the tour, including ferry crossings, campsites, and at all other times Motorcycle tours to Spain may take photographs and/or video footage of you, your motorcycle, pillion or tent. We reserve the right to use such material for promotional purposes including on our website, as advertising and in brochures and publications without obtaining further consent from you.
16) Complaint procedure

In the event a guest has a complaint, the first step is to discuss your concern with our tour guide. This is an essential part in resolving any issue. If, however you are still not satisfied you should put your complaint in writing and send it to info@ridespain.co.uk. A complaint must be received by Motorcycle tours to Spain within 5 days of the tour finishing. Complaints will be delt with within 28 days of receipt.
​
Discussing any complaint with a tour guide whilst on tour is an essential part of the process, it would be unreasonable to be on tour, have an issue and not discuss it with our tour guide, not raising any concerns whilst on tour deprives us of any opportunity to address and correct any issues.
​
17) Financial protection
​
In accordance with the Package Holiday and Package Tour Regulations 1992 and EC Directive 90/314EC Motorcycle tours to Spain has full tour operator insolvency insurance.
​
18) RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF ALL RISKS.
​
When booking a tour with Motorcycle tours to Spain you acknowledge touring by motorcycle has by its very nature Inherent risks, both known and unanticipated. you also accept that such risks cannot be eliminated without prejudicing the essential qualities of the tour. You unconditionally agree and promise to accept and assume all of the risks existing in touring by motorcycle. You accept that participation in this activity is voluntary, and you elect to participate in spite of the risks.

19) English Law
​
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, any disputes relating to the event program offered to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
